179...I deserve this number

I've thrown caution to the wind.

I've had handfuls of tortilla chips and beer at office gatherings.

I've had cocktails and grilled cheese sandwiches before heading off to a concert with friends.

I've stopped on the way home and picked up "a quarter pound" of this and "a quarter pound" of that to round out dinner.

I even used butter for a sauce for a warm mushroom salad.

It's not the addition of a little protein or sensible snacks during the day. Three weeks in proves that.

And my exercise has been maintained.

No, I feel off the wagon and the splash of cold water is a good thing.

I want to lose the pound before I head off to vacation in eight days.
